Wood Badge Training

What is Wood Badge:

Wood Badge is the premier training program for all registered Scout leaders in the Boy Scouts of America. This includes all Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity, Venturing, and Sea Scout Leaders, as well as professional Scouters. Wood Badge is designed to strengthen your unit, district, and council using the latest leadership skills and techniques. It is a once-in-a-life time training experience.

When & Where:

The 2015 Wood Badge course will consist of two 3-day sessions. Attendance at both sessions is required.

Session One: June 4 – 6, 2015 at Camp Clark

Session Two: June 18 – 20, 2015 at Camp Clark

The program runs from Thursday at 7:00AM through Saturday at 5:00PM.

Cost:

The course fee is $225 with a $100 non-refundable deposit due at the time of registration. Scholarship funds may be available. Please complete the council’s Opportunity Fund Application to request fund assistance.

Who May Attend:

Anyone Who:

Is currently registered in Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Venturing, Varsity, or Sea
Scouting

Is at least 18 years of age

Has completed basic training in their registered Scouting position

Has a current Annual Health and Medical Record form.
